The Ovation iDea is the first guitar with a built-in recording device!!  You will find the specs on the Ovation Guitars website, but to make it quick, the iDea features:
- 100 minutes recording capacity (MP3)
- Built-in mic
- Jam tracks player
- USB connection


It is so brilliant that you just can ask: why? Why anybody never thought about this before?

The price announced in several shops through Europe is pretty affordable (about 500€) but it doesn't seem to be available yet...
